Many people do not realize the importance of going to church. Many leaders don’t even know how to convince people to go to church with them. These reasons will help anyone with at least three points to convince someone to come to church with you.
1. SMILE ALWAYS
Smiling is a sign of affection and sends the message that I am ok being around you. That’s the first message you want to send to anyone you visit.
2. Look for something to admire
The first thing to talk about when you visit is admiring something the person has: car, living room, children etc. Admiration helps someone smile and makes them relax during the visit and get to talk about themselves. Think of about 3 things to admire when you enter the place
3. Call people by their names soon after you have met them
Everyone wants to feel important and knowing and mentioning their name right when you meet them sends that message
4. Show interest in people’s personal lives
Ask about their homes, jobs and schools.
5. Show an interest in people’s aspirations
Where does the person want to be five years from now? What is their vision and goals. Ask. What are your aspirations?.
6. You can go with some food or drinks
You can offer to meet for lunch or coffee and you can pay.
7. Listen to people’s problems
what are some difficulties you are having at school? at work?
8. Go the extra mile to help someone
Are you a christian? Prove it. Bible says the church is the body of Christ and if you are a christian, you are a member of the body then. If you are a member of the body, then you are a member of the church. If you are a member of the church, when the church gathers, you are there. When you see someone’s body, the fingers are usually where they are supposed to be. They have not left the body because they feel they are not important.
In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. Romans 12:4-6 MSG

9. Let not the conversation revolve around you and your problems
Try to focus on the person mostly.
10. When there’s an opportunity, give a gift
A gift makes room
11. Teach them the word of God
Prepare before you go
12. Share your own testimony
People backslide because they lack encouragement to go the long haul. Who will encourage you to keep running the race of faith when you feel like giving up? The church family is there to encourage you and also protect you from devils.
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. Hebrews 3:13
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account… Hebrews 13:17
13. ENCOURAGE them to Be Faithful with church attendance
Encourage them to be consistent with church and join a sunday service team.
14. Pray powerfully before you LEAVE
The main symptom that your life is under spiritual attack and decline is an inconsistent attendance at church services and other meetings. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. If he can separate you from the pack, he can attack you. So he always starts with creating in you a desire to not come to church. Don’t fall for it
