Seek The Father’s Heart

You need to be convinced of God’s heart towards sinners. Does God think about sinners and where they are heading towards? Is he nonchalant about it like you are? Do you think God cares about the state of the world?

Well, the famous verse in John 3:16 begins by saying for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Truthfully speaking, the Father’s heart for the lost and 98% of the heart of Christians for the lost contradict each other.

You can see it in the barrenness of most Christians. They think about it, but they do nothing about it. God thought about it and did something about it by sending his precious son to pay their penalty.

Consider these verses, so you can see the Father’s heart at the people you are passing each day without any thought or compassion.

As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die?

Ezekiel 33:11

Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.

Ezekiel 33:8-9

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.

Luke 19:10

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Matthew 9:36-37

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

God doesn’t enjoy people going to hell. God’s heart is compassionate towards the helpless and confused, and you need to pray for the father’s heart every day. You can pray with these verses above.
